Welcome to our school.

Hello, My name is LaNell McNaughten.  I am excited to be at Bluff Dale ISD this year.  After a 10 year absence from full time education, I returned to teaching two years ago.  I have previously taught elementary and Jr. High for a total of 29 years and enjoy having my own classroom again. This year, I will be teaching 6th 7th and 8th grade mathematics and 6th and 7th grade Career Investigations. I love it when students ask me “when am I ever going to use this?”  Math should be applicable to our everyday lives.   I am a long time resident of Bluff Dale.  My favorite thing is spending time with my family.  I have two beautiful daughters, a son-in-law and 4 grandchildren.

2nd  period – Sixth grade Advanced Math

3rd periods  – Seventh grade Advanced Math

4th period – Eighth Grade Math

5th period – Seventh Grade Math

6 th Period – Sixth/Seventh Career investigations

Each day, I write the students' assignments on the board and each week the student’s Success teacher will check for failing grades.  If any grade is low, they will notify you.  At three weeks, progress reports are sent home.  Of course grades are sent out every six weeks.
