BDISD, along with most school districts in Texas, is required to provide parents and students with a “Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan.” Ours can be found at https://www.bdisd.net/320223_2 along with the other 2021/2022 handbooks.
With increased awareness and concerns about COVID these last few weeks, we want to make sure you are aware of our plan. Bluff Dale ISD is subject to the governor’s executive orders related to COVID and Texas Education Agency guidelines based on these orders. The information in our plan meets those requirements, and will change, should the requirements change.
One thing that has not changed from last year is screening. All staff members and visitors will be required to self-screen for COVID symptoms (listed in the plan). Parents are asked to screen their children. Anyone with symptoms should not enter the school.
We are looking forward to having a normal school year this year. However, our students’ health must be our first priority.
