In keeping with Bluff Dale ISD’s practice to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all student families and staff members that another student has tested positive for COVID-19. Three students enrolled in Bluff Dale Schools now have lab-confirmed positive tests for COVID-19. The person testing positive was last on campus Friday, November 13 for a brief time before school started and is currently on home isolation.
Given that this is our third case in the high school, we are going to have all high school students finish the week remotely. Therefore, all high school students (grades 9-12) will be out of school after lunch on Thursday, November 19, and all day, Friday, November 20. Students in grades PK-8 will remain in face-to-face instruction. All students will return on Monday, November 30.
Parents are asked to keep me advised over the Thanksgiving holidays of any COVID-19 related issues so that BDISD can make the best decision about returning to full face-to-face instruction on November 30. You can email me at email@example.com. I will keep parents informed as to any changes as soon as decisions are made.
Thanks for your patience during this time. Please do all you can to keep yourself and your family safe over the next weeks.
