During the winter season, we may experience inclement weather that could possibly cause our schools to open late or to close. The following procedures will be followed if this becomes necessary:
During inclement weather, a decision will be made by 6:00 A.M. to delay or to close schools.
Announcements will be posted on the district Facebook page.Text and emails will go out to parents, students, and staff who have provided up to date contact information. Please ensure that the school has your correct phone numbers and email addresses.
In the event the school opening is delayed, the notice will be given as an amount of time, i.e. "School will start 2 hours late." This sample message indicates that all schedules, including buses, will be operating two hours later than the normal operating time.
Our primary concern is for the safety of our students and staff. If your child is tardy due to hazardous roads, please contact your child's principal and an excused tardy/absence will be issued.
