Welcome to Mrs. Logan's Homepage! My name is Lisa Logan. I teach PreK- 8th computers. I am also the technology coordinator and yearbook sponsor.I have been a part of Bluff Dale School since 1992. I have seen many changes through the years. I have been through eight administrators and many coworkers. I worked in the old red brick school building and remember the day we entered the building we have today. The technology has gone from a one software computer system that was housed in the library to what we have now, computers and Smartboards in every classroom.I grew up in the amazing hill country of Kingsland and attended Llano Independent School District from 1st grade to 9th grade. I moved to Stephenville in February of my freshman year of high school. Stephenville ISD seemed to be a huge school compared to the small school district of Llano. Oddly enough, I was a Yellowjacket in Llano and continued to be a Yellowjacket in Stephenville. After graduating from Stephenville High School, I attended Tarleton State University. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration and my teaching degree in Business Education and English from Tarleton State University. I have additional certifications in EC-8th grade. As times changed and technology became the forefront of education I went back to school and received my EC-12 technology certification from the University of North Texas in Denton.I have lived in Bluff Dale since I married my husband, Jimmy, in 1983. We have two boys, Christopher is 32 and Brandon is 28. Both Christopher and Brandon were Bluff Dale Bobcats, and I had the pleasure of teaching both of them for multiple years and in multiple subjects. Christopher and Brandon followed in my husband and my footsteps by also graduating from Stephenville High School. I am privileged to have a daughter-in-law to fill the girl's role in the family. My pride and joy is my beautiful sweet granddaughter, Ammie, who was born in 2015. Another granddaughter is due in September 2018.Please feel free to contact me by email if you have any questions about my class. (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you would like to set up a meeting during my conference time, please contact the school at 254-728-3277.As we all know, Reading and Technology are two subjects that kids need to master to make it in the twenty-first century. Technology may be the way of the world, but even to be successful with a computer you must first learn to READ!
